Quiberon, a port on the southern tip of the Presqu'île de Quiberon. It's from here that you can take the ferry to Belle-Ile. Ian couldn't resist the picture-postcard painted shutters.
This is a view of Le Palais, the port on Belle-Ile, from the ferry returning to Quiberon's Port Maria. The fortress on the right was originally built in the 16th century, and has been both a prison and a garrison; the citadel now houses a museum.
